O. Krystal McLeod & Youths

December, 2013, update and Seasonal Salute:     Congratulations Krystal Anne McLeod  for achieving a 2014 New York University (NYU)  Gallatin Global Fellowship in Human Rights – a great  honor also to United Nations NGO World Education Fellowship (WEF, Guadalupe Turner General Secretary) and *Respectful Interfaces* (Dr. Linda D. Misek-Falkoff) – more details to come!  Hearty thank you to the Program NYU Program Directors.

November 2013:  Announcement regarding Krystal McLeod,  New York University (NYU)  sophomore and NGO Youth Representative to the United Nations (U.N.)

We are pleased and honored to learn that our World Education Fellowship / Respectful Interfaces United Nations Youth Representative has been selected as   human rights  and education based fellowship  finalist based on her proposal “Doing the Dream” – for helping others imagine and manage aspiring  projects and programs, whatever the broad contexts and local directions.  The fellowships are exciting opportunities to work with distinguished professors and staff  at  New York University,  along with this sponsoring United Nations civil society NGO (Non Governmental Organization) for purposes of helping to  empower people of all circumstances,  ages, and places, to formulate and follow their ideas and dreams into actual real world focused activities – using *Respectful Interfaces*  (Misek-Falkoff)  models for implementing goals  and ideas into action plans and actual implementation (here with New York schools with Jamaican cultural features and extendable to other geographies as well).  We understand that only some finalists will be this year’s appointed fellows, and we congratulate all the finalists,  looking forward to news and notes – and we are especially gratified by Krystal’s going forward in leadership and indeed empowerment-sharing international  fellowship.  Brava Krystal! and keep us updated …   LDMF 11-21-13.
